Guess who is back? Back again….Yes, my lovelies, leather is finally back for Autumn & Winter, 2013! As all of the catwalks across the world from Tokyo to London and even the current high street have shown this season leather has captured the imagination of designers and fashionistas from all walks of life.
This gorgeous and sleek material will never fail to meet any of your expectations during the dark wintery months that lie ahead. Whether you are rocking the casual leather look on a lazy day (big fluffy jumper and leather trousers) or you’re partying the night away in a funky night club (leather skirt and a cami). Leather is a material that has presented it self as being great for any occasion!

Key Colored Leather Pieces for A/W 2013
Aside from the classic black lather pieces, which I’m sure everyone has tucked away in their wardrobe, coloured leather skirts and tops are also being shown as one of the hottest must have items this year – In particular I love the pale pastel and ox blood leather look at the moment.
I know what you are thinking, “wow this leather trend is going to cost me my whole month wage packet…lets get out friendly Mr. Visa AGAIN” especially with most pieces costing on average £60ish, you will have to shop smart to get the bargains. One little bit of advice if you are on a budget is look into high street hits from Missguided, Primark and ASOS who are selling leather look material, which I personally think are just as good!
One issue I do have with the leather trend, as I would hope others would agree with me, at the moment a number of people believe to look on trend they have to drench themselves head-to-toe in a deep sea of leather… yes Kim Kardashian and Kayne West I’m looking at you! Don’t get me wrong, I love leather – from the t-shirts to the trousers, but some trends needs an element of balance and this is definitely one of them. There is nothing wrong with just simply spicing up your wardrobe with a touch of leather, just don’t go over the top my beauties! Less is more.
So why not adhere to this trend and lather your self in leather?
